These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you, the freelance poker player (“you” or “Service Provider”), and Global Poker Staff Ltd, located at 3 Southdown Close, Stockport, SK41LB, United Kingdom (“we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of our services (“Services”).

By accessing, browsing, registering, or otherwise utilizing our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other applicable supplemental terms, policies, or guidelines. You represent that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you are prohibited from using our Services and must discontinue use immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Code of Conduct, which outline how we handle your personal information and the expected standards of professional and ethical conduct, respectively. By using our Services, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these policies, incorporated herein by reference.

USING OUR WEBSITE

By accessing our website, you agree to these Terms. Our website includes all content, such as design, layout, code, and graphics, which is protected by copyright and belongs to us or our content providers.

You may encounter links to third-party websites, which have their own terms. We may update these Terms at any time, and continued use signifies agreement to the updated version.

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Without our written consent, you may not:

All logos, names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may not use others’ intellectual property or alter copyright/branding marks.

INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

We use your data only to deliver Services, fulfill these Terms, or as required by law. We may anonymize data for research or service improvements. If your uploaded content violates third-party rights, we may disclose your identity to the claimant.

OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

Global Poker Staff connects freelance poker players (“Service Providers”) with companies organizing poker events (“Event Organizers”). We facilitate connections but do not provide poker services ourselves.

We may negotiate work conditions and salary on behalf of Service Providers to ensure fair terms. We are an intermediary only, not an employment agency, and do not form employer-employee or contractor-principal relationships. We are not agents, employers, or joint venture partners of Service Providers or Event Organizers.

Issues like non-payment or late payment are outside our responsibility. Service Providers and Event Organizers must resolve these independently. We are not party to their contracts and offer limited dispute resolution only for services not as described or non-responsive Service Providers, with our decisions being binding.

We may verify Service Providers’ details but cannot guarantee their services’ accuracy or Event Organizers’ ability to find suitable providers. We assume no liability for content provided by Service Providers or their ability to meet requirements.

We may delete a Service Provider’s profile for false information or gross violations and pursue legal action for deception or falsification.

SERVICE PROVIDER RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Providers must comply with legal requirements and handle claims from their contracts with Event Organizers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of Service Providers’ statements, their services, or Event Organizers’ conduct.

Service Providers may use contact details obtained through our Services only for contractual communication with Event Organizers, not for reselling or advertising without consent.

SERVICE PROVIDER REPRESENTATIONS

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

  • Your registration information is true, accurate, current, and complete;
  • You will maintain and update this information;
  • You have legal capacity and agree to these Terms;
  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • You will not use automated or non-human means to access Services;
  • You will not use Services for illegal or unauthorized purposes;
  • Your use will not violate applicable laws.

Providing false information may result in account suspension or termination.

PAYMENT TERMS

Our Services are currently free for Service Providers, but we may introduce fees in the future, with prior notification and an option to discontinue use. Payment terms between Event Organizers and Service Providers are negotiated directly. Event Organizers are solely responsible for compensating Service Providers. We are not liable for enforcing payments and encourage independent resolution of disputes.

RULES FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS

Service Providers must:

  • Honor contracts with Event Organizers;
  • Provide services as agreed;
  • Handle their own tax obligations.

Service Providers must not:

  • Misrepresent their services;
  • Contact Event Organizers outside our platform to avoid fees.

Service Providers must hold valid insurance and licenses. We may verify these with third parties. Bypassing our platform to deal directly with Event Organizers is prohibited without our written approval.

UPLOADING CONTENT

You warrant that your uploaded content complies with our Privacy Policy and data protection laws. You are fully responsible for your content. We are not liable for its accuracy or loss.

We use your content only to provide Services, fulfill these Terms, or as required by law. We may disclose your identity if your content violates third-party rights.

SERVICE DATA

We process Service Data, including personal data, you provide. You warrant that it complies with our Privacy Policy and data protection laws and that you own all rights to it.

You are the data controller, and we are the data processor. You must ensure you can legally transfer Service Data to us, and we will process it only per these Terms and your lawful instructions. Both parties will take measures to protect data from unauthorized processing or loss.

TERM AND TERMINATION

These Terms apply while you use our Services. We may deny access or terminate your account without notice for any reason, including breach of these Terms or applicable laws. Terminated users may not re-register under any name. We may pursue legal action for violations.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for the accuracy of information provided via our Services. Your use, including reliance on advice, is at your sole risk. We are not liable for:

  • Loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
  • Business interruption;
  • Loss of savings, data, or information;
  • Loss of opportunity, goodwill, or reputation;
  • Indirect or consequential losses.

Our liability is not limited for death, personal injury, fraud, or matters where exclusion is prohibited by law. We are not liable for losses from viruses or harmful materials affecting your equipment.

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify us and our affiliates against claims, losses, or costs arising from your actions, omissions, or breach of these Terms or laws.

ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Disputes will be resolved through negotiation within 30 days. If unresolved, parties will use an agreed-upon Online Alternative Dispute Resolution in English. If still unresolved within 30 days, the dispute may proceed to arbitration.

OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

We may transfer our rights under these Terms without affecting your rights. You need our written consent to transfer yours. No joint venture or employment relationship arises from these Terms.

These Terms and referenced documents form the entire agreement. Our failure to enforce rights does not waive them. Each Term operates separately, and unenforceable Terms do not affect others.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
